Contemporary Art Gallery
We have a wonderful light filled gallery space with beautiful full height street windows in our character filled creative hub. We specialise in showcasing emerging and mid-career contemporary artists from Melbourne and Regional Victoria in our curated group exhibitions, solo shows, as well as collective and private group exhibitions.
We run a full schedule of rotating gallery exhibitions in our two gallery spaces through out the year, so there is always something new to discover. We love supporting Victorian Artists to grow in their practice and confidence as they progress in their artistic career at any age!
We are a full service commercial gallery, from curating, hanging, manning, sales, demounting, and promotion, we take care of it all, so artists need only drop off their work, and then collect unsold works wrapped and ready for transport home.
With modern track gallery lighting and hanging system as well as an abundance of plinths in all sizes, along with access to partition walls, our two galleries transform into the space that is needed for each exhibition.
We take the stress, learning curve and decision paralysis out of exhibiting as a emerging artist, so they can concentrate on the art.

LAYERS & LINES - GROUP PRINTMAKING EXHIBITION
23 July – 31 Aug, 2026
Layers & Lines is a celebration of where texture, pattern, and repetition come together in all forms of printmaking.
Showcasing a range of traditional printmaking practices, this exhibition highlights the beauty of layered processes; each mark, carve, and impression contributing to the final work. From bold linear compositions to intricate, textural surfaces, the artworks reveal the balance between control and unpredictability that defines the medium.
Layers & Lines invites viewers to look closely, uncovering the depth and detail created through the distinctive rhythms of printmaking.
Artists: Deidre Chestney, Melinda Privitelli, Nicole Spillane, Sandy Angliss, and Sue Anson

SKIMMING THE SURFACE - ROBYN LEEDER
16 July - 3 August, 2026
This Solo Exhibition by Woodend artist Robyn Leeder is the culmination of her art practice since she began pastel drawing in the mid 1980’s. Slowly over the years her art practice morphed and in 2 012 she discovered printmaking. While her choice of mediums may have changed and developed over her four decades as an artist the core focus of her art has remained. To use picture making to capture slow travel.
Walking through the landscape, you see more detail and with a finer focus. You experience the weather first hand – shifting mists, wild winds, approaching rain squalls, flashes of brilliance as the sun penetrates a leaden sky to shine a spotlight on a high-country tarn or a stretch of silver sea. Narrow valleys open up to grand vistas and leaves cast interesting shadow patterns on a rock. A bush track emerges at a sheltered beach, a stream or viewpoint. These are the moments Robyn strives to capture.
