The Old Auction House Precinct is currently home to four artist studios which are rented to artists working in a variety of mediums, as well as a short term rentable teaching studio. The studios features high ceilings, large open work area, and access to the amenities of the precinct. Throughout the year work by the studio artists can be seen on display in the Studio Gallery. To allow public viewing of the artists in progress all studio spaces have a window into the gallery spaces.
Studio 1: Leadlight By Ettore
The premier studio at The Old Auction House, Studio 1, is situated near the entrance of complex and is used by glass artists Leadlight By Ettore. The studio is a two generation family glass arts business who specialise in creating new commissions and repairs in leadlighting, mosaics, and fused and slumped glass. The studio also runs a program of adult and kids holiday classes.

Studio 2: THE STORY COSTUMER
Caroline Sarah is a Costume Creative and Story Teller who imagines, assembles and curates unique costume experiences.
Caroline, a natural Bower Bird, sources repurposed and vintage materials for her creations, which tap into themes of fantasy, hope, playfulness and wild imagining. She will also incorporate the work of other makers into her costumes, whether it be buttons, small paintings or weaving.

Studio 3: WEDGE TAIL STUDIO
Working in painting, drawing, printmaking and photography; Jacquilyne Smith is a practicing artist and experienced secondary school art teacher with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from RMIT University.
Classes are designed for kids from pre school age to 18 in the areas of drawing, painting, printmaking and collage. Adult classes and events with guest artists and makers will be added.

Studio 4: Kyneton Craftery
We’re all about crafting! Learn something, teach someone, and have some fun.
Located in the rear of the Main Gallery, Kyneton Craftery is filled with our favorite materials from our over stuffed private stashes and some amazing new supplies!
Craft, Chat, and Caffinate while you brush up on an old favourite, learn a new craft you didn’t know you needed in your life, or just join one of our social craft sessions and share your knowledge as well as some laughs.
Come for a once off workshop, a regular crafting session or let us host your next party or private event, because we all know Maker’s Gonna Make and we’re here to help!

In the rear area of The Old Auction House a teaching studio is available for those looking to rent a space for a short period or series of periods. This studio features a range of movable furniture to allow for a variety of arts and crafts to be taught. Non arts based activities may also be run from this space by agreement. The studio space is rentable from periods of 1hr and also has marketing packages included in pricing to allow access to The Old Auction House's online bookings platform and other advertising opportunities. Artists or other individuals who wish to be sent further information about the space should contact us directly to request an information package.
