Working in watercolour, pastels, and machine embroidery Melbourne artist Anne Lawson has captured the beauty and delicacy of her subjects. “In this exhibition there are individual trees and dense, tangled thickets of trees. No matter what the medium with each work I want to capture the feeling of air moving through the branches and then contrast the twisted trunks. There is a joyous freedom in exploring these ideas.”

Jarrod Fraser - Debut Solo Show

Once an elite athlete and vibrant university student, Jarrod’s life drastically changed after a car accident in 1997. Confined to a wheel chair with a Acquired Brain Injury, he found an escape and a sense of purpose through his Art.

Western Art Group come together each Thursday at The Hunt Club Community Arts Centre Deer Park for three hours to indulge in our love of painting and drawing. This curated group show of Australian artists; Dr Barack Bardo (MOCAOS), Lliam Anstey-Sprigg, Erin Robinson, Nana Sakata, Emily Ziccone (The Nonsense Makers), and Deiter Barry Creations. All artists were given a brief to create 'Little Creatures' in their own styles, including watercolours, ink drawings, resin and plaster sculptures, and creatures from found objects.

From Coast to Coast is a collection of moments captured between two different landscapes that both have Chloe’s heart captured. Always frolicking between having dusty boots at home in the Macedon Ranges with a camera slung over her shoulder, to barefoot near the ocean with her underwater housing in her hands, it’s in both of these places and in between where she has found she belongs and is happiest – anywhere the sun shines and there is open space to wander, capturing those not-so-little moments full of beauty and magic.

Tia is a young emerging artist in the Macedon ranges shire. Rejecting confronting and uncomfortable art, she has developed her own genre of love, compassion and beauty in her own short life.
