Glenda's teaching style is to be generous with her knowledge and believes there shouldn’t be gatekeeping of knowledge and instead believing in everyone’s growth by sharing their their knowledge and techniques. As a mixed media artist Glenda often uses the knowledge or technique from different mediums to create unique outcomes and encourages others to think outside the box as well.

The wet & needle felting workshop is perfect for beginners who want to get started in felting or those looking to level up to using resists in their practice.
All materials are included in the price of this workshop, including Merino Wool Rovings in an autumnal palette. This makes it a fantastic workshop if you have been interested in learning to felt but didn’t know where to start or what materials you really need to get started without wasting money on supplies you really don’t need.
Wet felting is essentially joining wool fibers together through the use of a mechanical process instead of using a glue. You may have accidentally done this to a woollen jumper by using a hot cycle on your washer, in this class you will learn how to do it on purpose and how to control it! By using heat, agitation and pressure you will learn how to create different patterns in your felt and as well as how to make the felt conform to the shape you want.
In this hands-on 3-hour workshop, you will use Merino wool rovings and learn how to use a resist to then create a 3dn object. You will then learn how to mould the finished shape and then use needle felting to add flourishes that will make it your own.
