In this intimate five-person workshop you will learn to shape copper sheet before learning to mix, heat and manipulate your own enamelled jewellery earrings finished with sterling silver ear wires.
Your will learn how to design, construct, forge, finish and polish your own pieces of jewellery so that they will last a lifetime all while you gain the knowledge and hands on experience to continue your enamelling journey at home!

Join Sarah in this 2.5 hour workshop in the Macedon Ranges and learn the art of enamelling on metal, to use in jewellery making. In this intimate workshop, you will learn how to create your own stunning enamelled copper earrings finished with sterling silver earhooks.
Sarah breaks down all of her techniques into simple to follow steps that ensures everyone is able to complete their very own pair of enamelled earrings by the end of their workshop!
Whether you are looking to add a new trick to your expanding jewellery repetiteur or if you have never tried to make jewellery before, Sarah makes you feel supported and shows you every step along the way to make you confidently create your own earrings.
At the end of the workshop, you'll proudly take home a pair of unique copper earrings with sterling silver earwires that you've crafted yourself!

Sarah Munnings Jewellery
Sarah Munnings is a self taught jeweller who adores designing unconventional and quirky pieces using her experimental style and table top techniques.
She teaches beginner techniques across Melbourne and is known for her laid back, relaxed classes and eccentric teaching style. Her experimental style, interactive design process and re-engineering mind bring your ideas to life.
Accessibility
Sarah is neurodiverse and trained in working with neurodiverse people, she is adept at adapting the workshop for physical limitations and most areas of the venue is wheelchair/4ww accessible. There are ear muffs available but if you are sensitive to loud noise please bring your earplugs or noise cancelling headphones. There is a large toilet but not a disability toilet onsite. Please email to ensure adequate accessibility measures are in place to make your day as fun and stress free as possible if you have specific access requirements.
Requests for additional non-participating adults, carers/support workers, to attend workshops will be allowed dependent on space. Please contact venue prior to booking to confirm there is not already additional people assisting with other students in your preferred date.
